On this Thankful Thursday, I am very happy that one of my Hydrangea macrophylla (different than my white one from last post) is blooming. We haven’t quite figured out a happy spot for these hydrangeas. We have about five of these spread around our garden and I think maybe we finally figured out one or two spots where they will thrive.

The other thing I am so thankful for is food. I am not one to post food pictures but bringing in this dish of grilled chicken for dinner thrilled me. The smell was out of this world. I just had to take a picture. And it tasted good too. 🙂

Thirdly, I am very thankful for being forced to take some time off due to a sinus infection and my asthma acting up. Yes, being sick is no fun but in truth, this time hasn’t been so bad. My medication has been quick to help me feel pretty good but my wheezing has caused me to slow down. So I have been enjoying sleeping in, listening to music, taking naps, quiet time in prayer, going through my many pictures, and watching shows like Doctor Who and Father Brown. It’s been quite refreshing having this quiet week.
